Cookies and privacy

The purpose of this section is to inform users about the terms and objectives related to the processing of personal data of those who access and consult our website / forum. This treatment takes place during the navigation of sites / blogs, but also after exiting of the same. This page also serves as a privacy policy so called extended, which we give all users of our website / blog pursuant to art. 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (“Code regarding the protection of personal data”).

Said Policy does not apply to other websites accessed by the user through any link published on the above mentioned websites / blogs. This policy takes into account all pertinent rules on the matter, with particular reference to:

  • Recommendation no. 2/2001 of Group Art. 29, concerning the minimum collection of data online in the EU;
  • Directive 2009/136 / EC, amending Directive 2002/58 / EC (e-Privacy Directive) concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector;
  • General Measures of the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data “Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies” 8 May 2014.

Types of personal data

1) Data provided voluntarily by users

Participation in the forum activities requires a registration with your callsign and the email address. Other personal data may be added to enrich your user profile.

2) Navigation Data

The computer systems used to operate the website / forum, during their normal operation and only for the duration of the connection, acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified, but by their very nature could, potentially, through processing and association with data held by third parties, be used to identify users.

This category of data includes: IP addresses or names of the computers used by users who connect to the website / forum, the requested resources’ URI (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time of requests, the method used submit requests to the server, the file size obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of response from the server (successful, error, etc.), the navigation browser’s features, the size of the window in which the browser is running on the device used, and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on site / forum usage and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website / blog: even in such a case, the contact details are not kept for more than seven days.

Data treatment modalities
